The Best Fanny J. Crosby Hymn You Never Heard Of

Here is one of my favorite Fanny Crosby hymns (although it's hard to pick just one out of 8,000).  Unfortunately, almost nobody seems to know this one.  It is in very few hymnals, but it has great words focusing on both Jesus' greatness and loving-kindness.

If you are unfamiliar with the hymn and would like the music, it can be found here.

Wonderful Saviour, Blessed Redeemer
by Fanny J. Crosby

Wonderful Saviour, blessed Redeemer!
Jude 1:25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
Titus 2:13-14  Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Ever in glory, dwelling above;
Of God in Ephesians 1:20 which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
Yet in His mercy tenderly smiling,
Matthew 11:29 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
Over the children bending in love.
Of Jesus and the children in Mark 10:16 And He took them in His arms and began blessing them, laying His hands on them.

Refrain:
We will adore Him, gather and praise Him,
Revelation 5:13 And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, "To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever."
Voices in concert joyfully blend!
Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, " The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever."
His be the kingdom, power and glory,
Jesus taught them to pray in Matthew 6:13 'And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.'
Now and forever, world without end!
Ephesians 3:21 [KJV] Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Sing of His greatness, infinite greatness,
Of Jesus in Luke 1:32 "He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David;"
Sing of His goodness day after day;
Of God in Psalm 145:7 They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.
Guarding from evil, shielding from danger,
2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.
Leading us onward, cheering the way.
Of Jesus the Good Shepherd, in John 10:3 "To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out."

He is our refuge, He is our safeguard,
Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble, And He knows those who take refuge in Him.
Psalm 62:7 On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God
Peace to the youthful kindly He brings;
Jesus said in John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."
Sweet is the promise, He will protect us,
Jesus said in John 10:28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish ; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.
He will defend us under His wings.
Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge ; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.
